How we work
An interior design assignment can mean everything from choosing wall color or helping out with a small piece of furniture -
to a full renovation of your home.
What could an interior design service look like?
We usually divide each project into three phases, where you as a customer can be involved as much as you want -
from start to finish.
At the start of all projects, it is important to create a common view and understanding of what the job includes and to get a sense of how we can achieve your wishes.
The second phase includes a review of drawings, moodboard and design boards, color and texture samples to ensure that we are on the right track and that you feel confident that the project is going acording to your expectations.
In the last phase, the handover of the finished project takes place. When the handover is complete, you can decide whether you want to continue with the implementation of the project by yourself or we can continue to work together.
Moodboards
We work with MOODBOARDS in the beginning of every project.
They’re a valuable resource to help keep the style and aesthetic of a project consistent with the client's goals and expectations.
They're also an excellent way to refine a project's style before diving into the actual design process.
Product collage
We use a PRODUCT COLLAGE to show the customer the actual products we have selected.
We think it’s a great tool to follow up the mooboard of a project with a product collage.
Moodboard and collage should reflect each other in color, style and feel.
Illustration & Floorplan drawing
The SKETCH and ILLUSTRATION acts as an amplifier for us.
We can use it both as an interior design tool and as a presentation tool.
FLOOR PLAN DRAWING is more "accurate" than the sketch and is done according to given guidelines. Making a floor plan is necessary when we work with a customer both by hand or by computer. Partly to give the customer an overview, but also to see how the furniture fits together and how well they fit in the room.
Mock up
A MOCK UP make a design look more professional and help the client get an idea of what a design can look like in real-world.
Our aim working with mock ups is to demonstrate color schemes, content layouts, navigation visuals and to get the overall feeling.
Sketchup & 3D drawings
SKETCHUP is a 3D modeling program that can be used to create 3D objects in a 2D environment. 3D models are a potent tool that we use to effectively communicate designs to our clients via three-dimensional visualization, increasing project approval rates.
